Magali Leyvraz and Giulia Pestoni, students of the SSPH+ PhD Program in Public Health from IUMSP Lausanne and EBPI Zürich, are amongst the the winners of the this year’s SSPH+ PhD Abstract Award.
In total, 28 abstracts were submitted to the Swiss Public Health Conference 2018 by PhD students supervised by an SSPH+ Faculty member.

SSPH+ PhD student Jerry J. Hella from Swiss TPH won the award at the Swiss Public Health Conference 2018 in Neuchâtel with his article “Tuberculosis transmission in public locations in Tanzania: A novel approach to studying airborne disease transmission” published in the Journal of Infection (2017) 75, 191-197.
